The Cable Europe Labs certification programme provides the industry a unique instrument to improve the interoperability of products for cable systems and to verify the compliance of new vendor products to the applicable European cable technology specifications.

Specifications

Cable Europe Labs is the specification forum for the European cable industry, it defines (in cooperation with CableLabs) a common set of specifications for key cable technologies such as data communications via cable (EuroDOCSIS) and multimedia IP services via cable (EuroPacketCable).

Cable Europe Labs closely monitors worldwide trends and developments in communication technologies. In addition, the organisation evaluates their impact on networks and services of European broadband cable TV operators.
